Huli Huli Chicken

0 Whisk all ingredients except chicken and green onion together.
1 Reserve 3/4 cup of the marinade mixture by placing in a covered container in the refrigerator.
2 Place the chicken in a glass bowl or large freezer bag and cover with the remaining marinade.
3 Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight. If you use a Ziploc bag you can just put it in the fridge on a plate or in a small baking dish.
4 Remove the chicken from the marinade and throw the used marinade away. Pat chicken dry with paper towels.
5 Grill chicken, covered, over medium heat for 6-8 minutes on each side or until it reaches 160℉ in the center. Baste with the reserved marinade during the last 5 minutes or so.
6 Tent with foil and let stand 5 - 10 minutes. Sprinkle with sliced green onions and serve.
