Tender slow cooker French onion chicken is cooked in a rich, savory onion sauce and finished with gooey melted Swiss cheese. An easy, cozy dinner for busy weeknights or lazy Sundays.
0 Spray the inside of the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
1 Add the chicken in a single layer.
2 Cover with the chopped onions.
3 Sprinkle on the onion soup mix and add the condensed French onion soup.
4 Cover and set slow cooker to low for 6-8 hours.
5 30 minutes before you're ready to serve sprinkle on the Swiss cheese. Put the cover back on and continue to cook until the cheese is melted and chicken shreds easily with a fork.
